General Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Customer Onboarding Specialist is to assist with ground expedite customer onboarding processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction. The Customer Onboarding Specialist will also assist the Director of Customer Relations in all customer onboarding administration and account set-up related tasks.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer the onboarding application and all implementation related to customer experience including cross-functional account set-up
  • Communicate at an in-depth level on all account specifics and onboarding tasks to appropriate department contact
  • Provide data for periodic scheduled reviews of customers who have completed customer onboarding against defined metrics
  • Identify potential onboarding issues or concerns; research, clarify, and facilitate problem resolution
  • Escalate customer experience or execution-related issues to the appropriate department and manager; assist with issue resolution
  • Plan key stakeholder review meetings (in person or online) with a range of decision makers and influencers to discuss topics focusing on elevated customer engagement
  • Monitor administration of defined onboarding processes within cross-functional teams
  • Review files and data for accuracy and recommend changes to account set-up as necessary
  • Maintain calendar integrity to all internal or external deadlines
  • Other customer experience administrative duties as needed



Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration:

  • 2 Year Associates Degree in Finance, Business, or Transportation
  • 1-2 years of experience of Cognos or related BI tool (preferred)


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with urgency
