Overview

General Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Fleet Compliance Specialist is to direct and manage Panther’s DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol program. This position will accurately process and maintain all records and test results for the purpose of generating internal and external reports for DOT and contractual audits. This position works directly with internal and external doctors and nurses to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Regulations and company policies while resolving any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Starting date for testing program
  • Positive drug and alcohol results
  • Post-accident testing
  • Random drug and alcohol testing
  • Return to duty
  • Reasonable suspicion testing
  • Clinic selection
  • Medical invoices

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Transportation experience (DOT and Safety preferred)

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of organization
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
