General Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Manager of Owner-Operator Recruiting is to lead the successful operations of the Owner-Operator Recruiting Department through continuous process improvement and the development of performance matrices.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, developing, and management of all Recruiting staff
  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans and key performance indicators (KPI’s) for reaching departmental goals
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining all relationships with truck leasing companies and dealerships
  • Responsible for establishing and adhering to annual departmental financial budgets
  • Manage all marketing and advertising outlets including print, web, social media, tradeshow coordination, and agency relationships.
  • Negotiate and administer contractual agreements with all Owner Operators
  • Other duties as assigned



Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in an Owner/Operator environment
  • 5+ years of management experience


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Must be able to coach and lead a department by example
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide research, fact-based, statistical solutions
  • Must be able to build cross-departmental relationships
