General Summary:

The Software Developer II implements and improves our IT systems. This position will analyze system requirements and address any relevant problems. The Software Developer I also performs standard testing and provides solutions to ensure high levels of performance and security. Ultimately, the Software Developer should be able to translate our internal and external clients’ needs into new high quality IT systems.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute full life-cycle software development
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Identify system requirements
  • Consult with business partners to track software requirements and features
  • Collaborate with other developers to produce new systems
  • Validate changes by testing programs
  • Train users on the new operation systems and provide support
  • Ensure deadline requirements are met
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and technical developments
  • Formulate and implement solutions to problems


Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration:

  • Hands on experience with software development and documentation
  • A degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Familiarity with programming languages like C# and other .net languages as well as modern web based technologies.
  • Experience with MVC and/or jQuery
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) experience



Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of web forms, JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Objective C, and C#
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to explain technical details
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • A good problem-solving attitude
  • Solid knowledge of business information systems
  • Ability to design impactful user interfaces
